Bushbaby Lodge is located on a family-run farm and offers comfortable accommodation, dining, and recreational facilities. Relax, play, explore, and enjoy a healthy mixture of traditional and international cuisine
We have 14 rooms which can be outfitted with single, double and triple occupancy. For families with kids, either single or double occupancy, we can fit an extra single or bunk beds depending on the guests’ needs. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms with showers and hot water. Bushbaby Lodge is a child-friendly environment. There is plenty of space to roam, farm animals to see, and even a play structure with swing set, sand pit, and sitting pool for the little ones to enjoy.
Guests enjoy a variety of activities such as evening camp fires, sports, forest walks, farm walks, or visits to the nearby Ssezibwa Falls Buganda cultural site. See the activities page for more details.
Special group bookings are welcome. We host yoga retreats, team retreats, and social and professional club meetings.
Next to the rooms is a thatched roof gazebo for relaxation and dining.
There is ample recreational area for badminton, football, and frisbee.
And at the end of the night, when the campfire has been reduced to embers, just look up for a stunning view of the clear night’s sky.

Forest & Farm Walk
Bushbaby Lodge is located within a private family-run farm including an on-property old-growth forest. Guests can book a 1 hour forest walk with a camp guide. Your support for ecotourism keeps this private forest maintained and protected.
Guests may also walk around the farm at their leisure to see cows, pigs, goats, chickens, donkeys and sheep, as well as see the cultivation of the mixed fresh produce you enjoy every mealtime.
Sports and Games
Enjoy ample room to play a game of football, frisbee, or badminton. Your children will enjoy the playhouse, slide, and swing set located in a sand pit.
Camp Fires
Evenings we light a camp fire and munch on muchomo (roast meat) and serve hot tea with fresh farm milk, or you might prefer some Tusker, Nile Special, or wine.

Stable Management
Stable management involves all horse management activities. It includes different aspects such as care, shelter, exercise, medical follow-up, and so on. Good stable management is also essential for the well-being and health of the horses.
Ride
Horse Riding at Bushbaby Stables
Bushbaby Lodge is a home to some of the most beautiful horses in Uganda. Very friendly and easy to ride, our horses are well-trained and no riding experience is required. All riders and non-riders beginning at the age of 2 years and above are welcome. Come for a ride, a lesson, or to learn the magic of stable management.
Blaze, Collins, and Njoki enjoy spending their days munching on grass around the Bushbaby farm estate, being groomed and doted on by guests during Stable Management sessions, and giving rides through beautiful farm and village routes. Come see and experience these healthy, beautiful creatures yourself.
